The Newtonian Success Principle

I don't think there has ever been a person on this planet that has succeeded in life without going through some measure of what I am about to talk about. Great success never comes about without some sort of rough patches, hard times, negative elements, etc. attached to it. It's just how it is. If you are someone who has found success without having some sort of trials and tribulations in the pursuit of such things, congratulations. You are a God.

For the rest of us, there is often times a deep plunge into a pit of despair for some period of time before we climb upward, outward, and shoot toward the moon with our successes. Sometimes the pit is shallow and not all that long lasting, while other times, it seems like we are in the dip forever. If you hang in there long enough and slog through it, you eventually reach the promised land, and it IS GRAND. I have found this principle to hold true for me in my life, and I want to pass on this observation to you.

This is what I call the "Newtonian Success Principle". Newton's 3rd law of physics states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. I draw the contrast here between this physics and all of your ventures in life. The greater the negative you go through on your path to greatness, it only means that the upside will be equal in scale to all the shit you've had to go through to achieve it. The silver lining too, is that often times the universe is extra nice to you, and the upside is even more grand. Kind of like an extra reward for all that you've just been through. An equal and opposite reaction.

So keep this in mind next time you are trying to do something. Anything. Whatever it is. When you are going through the tough times, just KNOW that there is going to be a reward of equal and opposite grandeur waiting for you after you cope with the negative. You can count on it. It's a law. Remember that. There is no other way. This is the way it works. Expect it. You can't cheat physics. They work the same every time.

When you are struggling, remember Newton's 3rd law. Equal and opposite.

Don't give up...
